Marinade (for Chicken)

This recipe is really only a guideline. I never, ever measure when I make a dressing-based marinade. Sometimes I don’t even use Italian dressing! Nonetheless, this does serve as a list of ingredients that make a great marinade.


  • 1 tablespoon lime or lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (the light it has less salt)
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 7 to 10 tablespoon Italian Dressing


  1. combine the above in a zip-top bag
  2. soak the meat in the bag overnight
